The cruiseship "Maasdam" leaves the port of St. John's, NL, Canada after a few hours R&R for crew and passengers. I took a series of photos from a position close to the water not far from the Chain Rock Light, one of most notable markers in what we call the Narrows. The vessel seems to have a list to port but I think it is my perspective. See the Rooms and Basilica in the background.

The cruiseship "Maasdam" leaves the port of St. John's, NL, Canada after a few hours R&R for crew and passengers. I took a series of photos from a position close to the water not far from the Chain Rock Light, one of most notable markers in what we call the Narrows. The pilot is already onboard and here the pilot boat waits to escort the ship to sea where the pilot will diembark.
