The epic Sacra di San Michele. A monastery over one thousand years old in the Italian Val di Susa.
It gave the writer Umberto Eco the inspiration for his novel "The Name of the Rose".
Inside the main Church of the Sacra, dating from the twelfth century, are buried members of House of Savoy (one of the oldest royal family in the world).
A fire in early 2018 destroyed a part of the apartments in the monastery.
