The first time we came around a bunch of school kids ignored the signs calling for quiet around this animal. So no "wolf".
Second time we were luckier: no kids and it was feeding time. You will hear the keeper calling to the creature before throwing a paper bag filled with meat to it right in front of us.
Maned wolves are often known as "foxes-on-stilts". when you see this one in action, you will understand why.
