The Bond Fire was the second fire in two weeks to force us to evacuate. Though it covered a smaller area than the Silverado Fire, it caused more structural damage.
One thing that prevented its spread was that it stopped at the edges ol the area of the Silverado Fire. Land that fire has burnt once cannot be burned again until the vegetation grows back.
