The factory secretly produced gunpowder used in ammunition for the Swedish military from 1940 to 1945.

When WW2 started in 1939, Sweden suddenly needed a lot more ammunition than they could produces at AB Bofors. The military build several factories on secret locations. At this location they produced gunpowder from 1940 to 1945. The factory was available for production until 1973 when it was abandoned and left to decay.
