I have very little information about this batch of buses so contributions from informed sources would be welcome. Tyneside Passenger transport Executive operated a small batch of Leyland Nationals in single and dual-door form for a few years before selling them on to other operators. Yellow Nationals - again in single and dual-door - form, later returned to Tyneside under the ownership of the National Bus Company, initially in that company's interpretation of the PTE scheme and then in full Tyne & Wear PTE yellow and white livery (26-Apr-13).
