This is a sequel to the previously published Leyland National 2 in a fictional version of Samuel Ledgard livery, with non-prototypical aluminium wheel hubs. In reality, Ledgard did not last long enough to acquire Leyland Nationals, which, in any event, would have been an unlikely choice for an independent operator. Unlike the National 2, this version does not carry a West Yorkshire Road Car fleet number and I leave it to the viewer to decide the circumstances that could have resulted in a Leyland National being presented in this much respected livery (20-Apr-13).
