Dear Mr EFE, this is the model that we want. Very few Leyland Nationals were delivered in pre-NBC liveries. The traditional Sunderland District livery on this example is enhanced by the unpainted stainless steel bumpers that characterised the first productions batch. Note also that the wheel hubs are black rather than the more usual body colour or later NBC grey.

MCN 151K (fleet number IK) was delivered new to Philadelphia depot of the Sunderland District Omnibus Company in 1972 in all-over BET red (the Leyland National plant, at that time, being unable or unwilling to supply vehicles in two-colour schemes). It received title case Sunderland District fleet names for the Philadelphia garage open day, prior to the proper blue and white Sunderland District livery being applied. It was later destroyed by fire whilst (it is believed) still carrying this livery. Other members of the same batch were repainted into the short-lived NBC blue livery before succumbing to NBC poppy red. This digital representation is based on an official view of Northern General MCN 817L, kindly provided from the Go-Ahead archives by Keith Lee and David Slater (20-Apr-13).
