This image is based on a monochrome print acquired from the late Arnold Richardson's Photobus, although I don't know who the photographer was (please raise any copyright issues directly with me). The registration EEL 585 indicates a vehicle of Bournemouth origin - possibly Hants & Dorset - but that's all I can say about it. I initially presumed that the body is by ECW but I'm less sure now.
It carries the traditional Scarlet Band livery - or one of the more common variations of it - complete with garter-style fleet name, but there's no sign of the company's 'trademark' green lamp below the destination display. The source picture appear to have been taken on a dull day, and perhaps the bus was beginning to look a little down at heals, so there's no glistening paintwork (20-Feb-10).
