User / northernblue109 / East Yorkshire Motor Services, East Yorkshire: AEC Regal III/Beadle (fiction)

Until recent years, open-top buses were never common in the north east of England. This opportunist image is based on preserved Maidstone & District HKL 826. AECs were rare in the East Yorkshire fleet but model maker EFE has produced a Duple-bodied example, which I have used as a precedent. The 'Sea Front Service' branding is intentionally non-specific, but Bridlington come to mind as a potential operating base (14-May-11).
