With a vast inherited fleet, BRS needed its own recovery vehicles and, like many bus companies, it found the war-surplus AEC Matador ideal for its needs. Some quite stylish rebuilds emerged but this is a more modest example, in reality a product of bus operator Lancashire United (22-Apr-11).
