This digitally-coloured image is based on an original monochrome from an unknown source (please let me know if you are able to prove copyright). I have little information about the subject but it is clearly one of the small 200hp diesel shunters built by the North British Locomotive Company of Glasgow in 1960. Similar 2767, which is preserved on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway in Scotland, lasted only seven years in BR service before sale to an industrial user (11-Oct-10).
