Introduced in 1954, ERF’s futuristic LV (Kleer Vue) cab incorporated one of the very first applications of curved glass in a commercial vehicle and one that reputedly caused manufacturer Triplex many challenges. It became hugely popular; so much so that the letters KV were commonly used to describe the model range as a whole. This dropside truck carries the attractive livery of the Heavy Transport Company, the road haulage subsidiary of the Englash China Clay Company (14-Jan-23).
