This fictional image was inspired by a similar unit that was operated by Mettoy Ltd, owners of the Corgi Toys brand, and which it is believed may have appeared in model form. It is based on a preserved Karrier Bantam Mobile shop/ display unit that was rallied in the livery of the North Western Gas Board in the 1980s. The body is most probably by Smiths of Gateshead who built many similar units (03-Sep-21).
