This digital representation is based on the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society’s preserved 1940 United Bristol L. At least two similar buses, including FHN 835 depicted here, were transferred to associated company Durham District Services as replacements for older vehicles inherited from independent operators. Note that DDS did not retain the black-painted mudguards of its parent company. These buses were disposed of in the late 1950s (22-Nov-18).
