This image makes an interesting comparison with the accompanying fictional Class 62 Vossloh Eurolight, from which the Class 68 was developed. Arriva did not operate Class 68s, but did lease three Class 67s from DB Schenker in 2012 to replace Class 57s on services between Holyhead and Cardiff in Wales. Whereas the 57s carried the full Arriva livery depicted here, the 67s carried a plain blue or turquoise scheme. Both types worked with fully-liveried sets of MklII coaches and Driving Van Trailers (updated 29-Oct-23).
