Before the widespread adoption of semi-trailers (artics), the rigid eight-wheeler was King of the Roads and the ERF KV was one of the most stylish of the breed. Strictly speaking, the KV designation refers to the Kleer View cab rather than the specific model, but this is how ERFs of the period tended to be described. In reality, this particular KV flatbed (YMS 111) is preserved by an owner in Northumberland; it previously carried Pollocks livery, to whom it may have been new (11-Jul-14).
