Lumix G1 with Leitz Summicron-C 40/2.
This lens was originally developed for the Leica CLE film cameras as a low cost standard lens. It's a great match with the G1 in terms of looks, weight and usability. It is easy to find lens and typically sells for around $500 in good condition. Minolta made a copy this lens (for the Minolta CLE) and should be identical in use. The lens originally comes with a screw in rubber hood - I am using a simple 'can' instead.
It is equivelent to a 80mm lens and great for portraits and general shooting. The lens is very sharp wide open with clean, vivid colors. The ideal partner for the G1!
