I just used Google Translate to find out what "Qui sint heli" actually meant so that I might be taken for a latin scholar but am not impressed with the answer! Who is Eli? And then reading it perhaps it is correct and Eli = Elijah and each line asks the same question about different biblical characters? What do you think?
Whatever it may be the artwork on that ancient page is simply magnificent.
