After much faffing, I finally hooked the Sony A5000 to the Phantom mk 1 with an uprated battery.

The result is pretty cool. I now have 20.7MP raw fire power from a quadcopter. Factor in a high speed SDHC card allowing the raw files to be written every 3 seconds via the time lapse app and that's a serious chunk of photos for every 6-7 minute flight.

Upgraded props are on the way too to provide greater lifting capability. The only thing left to consider is a live downlink which I currently enjoy with the Phantom 2 along with the iOSD mini.
