1948-2005 "Tiny" McFarland had the distinction of being the first and last drummer to play the Armadillo World Headquarters, but the big man with the big heart was best known as Joe Ely's original drummer, a booking agent for performers Alvin Crow and R.C. Banks, and a talent scout who discovered country singers Don Walser, Kimmie Rhodes and Wayne "the Train" Hancock.
