As I was setting out this morning, I was thinking about going to a couple locations that I had seen many Turkey Vultures in previous years. I was quite pleased to find 5, then 4, then 11.

The Tree Swallow has a plumage color that is incredibly brilliant. Any photo I take and I manage to get to close the actual color I count as a win.

I spotted 5 Turkey Vultures in the trees just off the Matsqui Trail Park at Page Rd parking lot. A while later I spotted 4 of them were circling and landing in the farm field that had been turned in the last week. A short while later I was looking down river and I saw a flock of 11 Turkey Vultures headed upriver and seemed to go into the trees on Sumas Mountain.
