Minilta XE-5 with Minolta MD 35-70 f/3.5
Many of the differences between the two are visible here:
The button next to the advance lever is for double exposure
under the advance, the 7 has an indicator for film movement + frame count, 5 has frame count only.
There's a little bit built on front of the prism housing on the 7 for the peek window to aperture, which the 5 lacks.
This may or may not be the total difference in function between the two. The 5 looks much nicer in person than in photos, the panda look is kind of nice.
