Tourists Vs the Palace of Knossos
I visited the Palace in Knossos on the Greek island of Crete today. Knossos, the capital of the Minoan Empire, is the oldest city in Europe, the original foundations dating from around 2000BC! Knossos was the home to the Legendary Minotaur.
Whenever you take a photo of a large group of people like this, there is always at least ONE looking straight at the camera... See if you can spot one in this :)
Note I am away in Crete, looking for subjects to shoot, with limited transport LOL

The Throne Room
This is the throne room in the Palace of Knossos in Crete. The "Minos" of the Minoan Empire would have sat here more than 4000 years ago! The Griffins on the walls are interesting too.

Palace of Knossos
The landscape overlooking the Palace of Knossos in Crete. There was a city in the landscape with running water, flushing toilets and a proper sewerage system more than 4000 years ago!!
