40 Megapixel.
This is an experimental 40MP photo from my new OM-D E-M5Mk2. Taken with my 14-42mm "kit" lens, zoomed right out to 42mm. It was VERY windy at the time, so there are some movement artefacts in this photo which i have left alone (also a car started to come into the picture on the road in the distance, which I didn't notice at the time! ) . the image has been cropped at the bottom for A) composition & B) the grass closest to the camera was blowing wildly and that sort of movement goes weird with this Olympus Hi-res technique. All in all, a good experiment. If the day was just a little less windy I would call it 100% successful!

40MP Vase
This is a hand held 40 Mega-pixel photo from my new OM-D E-M5 Mk2. This is an ancient Greek Vase in the British Museum. Because the file size is big, I have added a 100%size crop in a yellow box of the face of one of the figures, so you can see the incredibly fine detail.
This is f/8 at 1600 ISO. The camera creates this huge image by moving the sensor one pixel at a time. This was pretty hard to do without a tripod. I was leaning the camera against a wall

40Mega-Pixel Macro
This is the inside of an Orchid. I was experimenting with my #olympus OM-D E-M5Mk2 in "hi rez" (40Mp) mode , my 25mm prime lens and 16mm of macro extension tubes. It came out OK, not perfect, as something kept moving a tiny bit, but OK :)

Church
a 40Megapixel (cropped) photo of the Church in St. Anne on Alderney taken tonight. I wanted to test the 40mp mode on the Olympus OM-D E-M5Mk2 on a night time shot, it was an 8second exposure at 14mm ISO 640. It worked OK there is a LOT of detail. I notice, however , some "stippling" on some area. This is because I timed it badly and people were leaving the Church, and headlights lit up bits at different times :) Oh well! Then they turned the lights off, so I didn't get a second go at it.

Bluebells
Bluebells in Micheldever Wood, in Hampshire this morning. The Bluebells are only just starting to come in, maybe next weekend there will be a nice cover :) This is from a 40Megapixel image taken with my Olympus OM-D E-M5Mk2. A bit of a challenge to do in the middle of a wood :)
