Massive crowds in the space between the Hagia Sophia (Ayasopya) and the Blue Mosque in Turkey.

Basilica Cistern, Istanbul
This ancient cistern was built around 476AD and is under the old city of Istanbul. This shot is interesting , as I was taking a long(ish) exposure (an a wall as I had no tripod with me for various reasons) and during the 1/5 of a second exposure someone to the left of the frame used a flash , which "painted" the columns with the ripples fro the water! Amazing timing LOL!

*The Tombs and the Blue Mosque - Istanbul*
A unique view out of the Window of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. The window was open so I used it :) The closest domes are the rooves of some of the tombs of the Ottoman Sultans, from around the 16th century , and the furthest is the dome of the "Blue Mosque".

A Whirling Dervish in Istanbul, Turkey. A member of a Sufi sect that uses the physical activity to meditate. A post & run again.. leaving Istanbul tomorrow morning.
