This is the posts of an old Jetty in the Solent at Hythe in Hampshire. This is a long exposure (2secs) using my "poor man's ND filter" (A LPL on a CPL)

Hythe Pier
The historic pier at Hythe in Hampshire was opened in 1881, and extends 2100 feet into the Solent. It has the oldest running pier train that runs out to meet the Ferry from Southampton.

The Solent
The Solent is the stretch of water between the English mainland and the Isle of Wight. This is looking at part of the Solent (the Itchen Estuary) from Hythe in Hampshire. One of Isle of Wight Ferries is on the right.
