Boscastle
This is the village of Boscastle in Cormwall - I visited this beautiful fishing village on a day (Wednesday) when a huge Atlantic low was dropping flooding rains on the U.K. - Look at the news. In August 2004 this scene was one of utter devastation as similar conditions caused a massive wall of water to bulldoze its way through the town! (video is here goo.gl/6LlYH )

Stormy
The entrance to Boscastle Harbour as a storm races past. I dodged the torrential showers as I climbed up on the slippery slate rocks to get this photo. The wind was threatening to blow me off the rocks! Now the eagle eyed mat see that there are two people on the other side of the harbour mouth! and I thought I was being brave!

flags, flax, fodder & frig
The Witchcraft Museum in Boscastle in Cornwall. This is the definitive museum, and has been in this tiny Cornwall fishing village for over 50 years. It, along with most of the businesses in the town was all but destroyed in the massive flood of 2004, but a lot of its exhibits were rescued.
It is fascinating and well worth a visit!

Boscastle
Another view of the Cornish fishing village of Boscastle. I spent one night there in very poor weather, but thought it was a wonderful town!
