It was very. very dark inside this house (they keep it dark for preservation reasons), so getting photos is challenging! - This room is the "Green Wardrobe"

This staircase is from the 1670's (from memory) and is apparently haunted!
The whole of Ham House is a bit like a 17th Century time capsule - it was a Royalist house that was protected from the Parliamentarians during the Civil War, right through until the Charles the Second took the Throne at the Restoration.

The Gardens of Ham House
The House was built in 1602 and is amazingly well preserved, it is worth a visit to Richmond-Upon-Thames to see it. This garden was amazing, despite the fact that the weather was terrible!
