This fine specimen of a gull was sitting on a rock inside the medieval walls of the village of Tossa de Mar in Spain.
Great zoom hey? Actually I was standing about 1 foot away from him, he was not going to move for anyone! These guys are almost a big as the gulls on Alderney, so about the size of a small dog!
You really SHOULD look at this guy LARGE On Black Best use the Darkr link below though!

The road that runs across the island & down to Fort Torgis looks like it could be in the middle of nowhere. In fact there is only about 10 miles of roads on the tiny Channel Island of Alderney. This is called Val de la Bonne Terre

The disused & overgrown graveyard was the subject of the latest Winchester Flickr Group's meet up.
A difficult subject for me, due the the winds & dappled lighting.
I had a great time guys - Thanks!
(I have been too busy to get images up the last couple of days, sorry!)

The Sunset reflected in a pool next to the Causeway out to the Victorian fort "Fort Clonque" at low tide, with smooth seas. Often this area is VERY dangerous!
