Stirling bridge in Stirling Scotland was the site of the massacre of English troops at the hands of William Wallace (aka Braveheart). He swept down from the nearby hills whilst the English army was crossing this narrow bridge in 1297, and his vastly outnumbered men were victorious.
It was bitterly cold when I took this shot.

The fog slowly rises over the grave yard in Stirling on the afternoon of Hogmanay (New Years Eve)
It was still about zero degrees when I took this.

The Medieval Cathedral in Glasgow Scotland is a wonderful example of Gothic Architecture, and was started in 1136.
Our one day in Glasgow itself was very, very foggy and overcast, and the light was terrible! The fog lifted for only a very short while, so I was lucky to get this shot.
It was New Years day, and the cathedral was closed :-(

These trees stand by a gate at the archaeological site of the Roman fort "Birdoswald" on Hadrian's wall near Carlise in England. This used to be the border between Scotland and England in Roman times.
It was -3.5 degrees, and that is ice on the ground. You can see the fort's wall in the distance.
