You've seen it from the side, now here's a view of crossing the footbridge towards "Little Bali".
The building on the left is the one of the old British barracks, and has "1932" over one door. Look here for an earlier shot of that building.

Another view of one end of the foot bridge to Gillman Village in Singapore. The area was originally known as the Gillman Barracks.
At this place, in 1942 One Hundred & Twenty Nine Allied solders held off a whole Japanese Division right up until the Allied surrender! Hard to believe when looking at this lush setting now 65 years later! (reference)

This old colonial building is in the Gillman Village area in Singapore. Today it contains a food court and some other businesses.It is such an interesting colour, that I had to take some shots!

This model of a T-Rex is in Singapore's Gillman Village area. It is so decrepit that it's tail has fallen off & its skin is peeling away. It looks like it used to move once. Here you can see the compressor that must have run it
