This is one of the Lions at the Buda end of the Chain Bridge that links Buda with Pest across the Danube.
It's proper name is "Széchenyi Chain Bridge" and it was opened in 1849 - The Lions at each end were added in 1852.
It was sleeting when I took this. A difficult shot in poor light ;-)
