Bears of Hosier Lane - Melbourne
Hosier Lane in Melbourne is where the Street Art lives. There seems to be a bit of a "Teddy Bear" theme happening right now. The real bear's sign says, "Can't be stuffed" LOL!

"Over the next few months, I will create a series of 100 portraits of the photographers who visit Hosier lane. I have chosen this laneway as it attracts many photographers everyday, coming here especially to photograph the graffiti on the walls of the lane way. This work examines the construction of identity (of the amateur photographer, specifically) and the nature of representation. By entwining the gaze of the photographer (as the viewer) and the photographer as subject (viewed), the boundaries are blurred as the viewer and the viewed appear merged, connected through their gaze."
