Our Christmas travel plans have been thwarted due to the weather....I think.....we are supposed to be crossing the Cabot Strait to Newfoundland tonight on a ferry..an 8 hour crossing this time of year...but right now there are 5 to 7 meter waves out there and the ferries have been tied up for a couple of days due to the snow storm with hurricane force winds we just had....One ferry has finally left North Sydney....the departure time from the Newfie side is "still unknown" due to weather conditions ...... Soooooo...do you think I want to go????? If you said "yes", you can take my place!
