"We're not sure that the trees are "Canadian" enough, so we thought that to make it clear we could add some snow to the trees. Perhaps you can add some green accent to the bottom of the trees while leaving the tops of the trees white so that it looks like snow is falling. There is also a blank space just under the trees, so maybe you could also add some soft white to give the impression of snow. What do you think?
