The 2009 Illinois State Fair opens on Friday, August 14. With only four days to go before the ribbon cutting, the State Fairgrounds in Springfield is bustling with activity. Over the next two weeks, I will be posting images of this year's fair to my 2009 Illinois State Fair (set). Each post will feature one or more state fair themes or subjects. This first group of images features some of the 225 food vendors who are now in the process of setting up booths at this year's State Fair.
