A beautiful place to visit on the Lofoten islands is Hamnoy. It's located near the famous Reine village and also as stunning as Reine itself. Here an impression taken on a beautiful summer day which are kinda rare on Lofoten islands.

This is probably the most famous mountain road in Norway.
While driving the Norwegian Road 63 (connecting Åndalsnes and Valldal), be sure that you're not driving this serpentine part by yourself! Not because it's difficult to drive, but you'll be missing most of the stunning scenery :-)

Having some spare time during our road trip, we also went for some sightseeing. Not only the classic ones, but also some smaller stave churches were on our list. Here's the one in Røldal, absolutely worth a visit.
