Darwin Falls in Death Valley National Park. The incongruity of this beautiful little falls in a park known for its desert scenes and its heat that give rise to the name Death Valley is startling. The name "Darwin" brings to mind the phrase of "survival of the fittest" summarizing the Darwian theory of natural selection which seems appropriate (even though this is named for Dr. Darwin French a silver prospector and not Charles Darwin, the naturalist). As always, your faves and comments are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer.
