Wow! I'm up to 3 weeks in a row of posting here! I'm on a roll!
Early on when I first started photography some 10 years ago, all I ever wanted was “epic” light. The light was more important than the subject or compositions. What I realized over the years is, it’s all relative. Everyone thinks the light they see is epic....but in reality it really isn’t. As much as I get out, I rarely if ever see epic light. In fact most of the time I see epic light I’m working, or doing daddy day care duties. Today, I’m sharing an image where in fact, the light was indeed “epic”. Definitely in my top 5 displays of light that I’ve seen and captured. My buddy Paul Rojas and I were treated to a complete 360 degrees of incredible light. You could point your camera in any direction and capture great light. Rainbows 🌈, skies full of color and virga, you pretty much name it we had it! Only thing we didn’t have was a flying unicorn . It was pretty spectacular. Lots more to the story but I’ll save that for another day😊
