Yet more experimenting with fruits - theyre a lot of fun really and the color contrast is just perfect with blue sky's.
This one is really easy to do if you think about it :) The pain is getting those drops and making them look right, it took about 30 shots to get this one and some editing to get the exact shot I wanted. Im not sure its perfect but i do like the way it turned out in most ways.
I hope some people are inspired to try these - theyre a whole lot of fun and produce some really really cool results - they just need a bit of timing and practice and youre off - perfect experimentation and you can do them with any camera.

For the first time in weeks I finally got time to take some new stuff, work slowed down perhaps or maybe finally feeling human since giving up smoking a month ago now.
Down to the Gold Coast for lunch and some more attempts at shooting surfing. Ok I havent got it worked out, the problem is working out the best way to combat glare and harsh light. Still working on that. However I have got a few shots worth uploading.
The problem is water is harsh - ive tried shooting on manual, AE and P modes - im playing with ISO and shutter speeds, im slowly getting better work, this worked nicely to my mind, the moment captures well anyway.
Any suggestions you have of course for shooting surfing would be great, I suspect the best thing in the world remains a very fast lens and a big focal length - but I cant afford an f2.8 600MM prime sadly.
