Finally took a new pic!!!
I’ve been out of the photo taking biz for a few years now and when I decided to get back into this…. I don’t know what to call it started to pop up in my feed as I built a shot list.
Ostensibly it’s a fish house. I found a great article @downeastmagazine if you want to learn more.
Forgot to pack the cable for my remote release so this one will never live beyond the computer/phone screen or a smallish size print as I had to manually hold the shutter release down with mittened hands during the 40 or so second exposure. One of those things I doubt anyone else will notice but the hint of a blur at 100 percent magnification is the kind of thing that absolutely drives me nuts.
I have a tendency to shoot for something different or unique when I photograph well known landmarks like this one is becoming. With the proliferation of sites like this and all the online sharing it becomes a challenge to stretch yourself creatively sometimes. It may seem like everything has already been done but in the end there is always something new!
