Alligator snapping turtles (Macrochelys temminckii)
are the largest freshwater turtles in the world. Their heavy heads, strong jaws and hooked beaks give them a prehistoric appearance, and their carapace, or shell, is spiked.

Owl butterflies live in rainforests. This is the most home-like place in the Butterfly Atrium that Hershey Gardens has, an artificial little stream surrounded of green vegetation. You can see the eggs close to her. (Best in large)

The eastern diamondback rattlesnake is America’s most deadly snake. Their venom is potent, even more so than other rattlesnakes. Not only that, but they store more venom in their venom glands than most other snakes. If you’re bitten by one, the first thing you’ll notice is searing pain, like being jabbed with two hot needles. Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes inhabit the Lower Coastal Plain of the southeastern United States, from southern North Carolina to eastern Louisiana, including all of Florida.
This rattlesnake was captive-born on August of 2012 in ZooAmerica, Hershey, PA.

I don't have sunset or sunrise photos at all because I'm never outside at that hour but this one was from my last vacation and was one shot with no tripod (as always), using the same settings from the last photo. I admire all the spectacular sunset photos that you post here, but this is just one imitation of yours. Now that I have more time will try more landscapes photos.
