As the temperature drops this place, usually green with life, takes on a new appearance. Moss is replaced with snow covered rocks, green vines of honeysuckle give way to bitter cold spears made of ice and the overall is one of a bluish cold. Looking closer we come to realize this life is essentially that of a different canvas and while most will shutter indoors to their warm environs, I enjoy the unique look of this fast changing canvas. Views such as this one are so rare in the area in which I live and for a moment it feels like a place of dreams and fantasy.
