The newly named Conallison is tied up at the Consol Fuel dock in Windsor July 3/81.

The J. R. Sensibar was originally launched on Dec 9/1905 as the Frank C. Ball. She was purchased by Sensibar Transportation, converted to a self unloading sand barge, and renamed J. R. Sensibar in 1930. The Sensibar was sold to Midwest Vessel Corp in 1935 and resold to Columbia in 1942. The Sensibar was laid up in the Frog Pond at Toledo in 1980. She was sold to Canadian Johnstone Shipping in 1981 and renamed Conallison. The Conallison was purchased to carry coal from Lake Erie ports to Quebec. However, on her first trip, 7/26/81, the operation ended due to a contract dispute. The Conallison was chartered to Westdale to replace the Erindale after the latter vessel hit the Allendale Bridge on the Welland Canal. After three trips, the Conallison was laid up for the last time at Toronto on 11/13/81. The Conallison and the George M. Carl were towed to Aviles, Spain in Sept. '84 for scrapping.
