If you're trying to figure out what it is you're looking at... This is the inside of Explora. It's a science museum for kids in Albuquerque. It was a fascinating piece of architecture. This is looking off the balcony from the second floor. The ceiling is round with big exposed beams and skylights.
It's three bracketed exposures combined in Photoshop to even out the lighting (My own home grown HDR technique)
And... Yes, I actually got permission to shoot this.

Pilot, Gilbert Martin, adds the second key ingredient. Heat. Balloonists from all over the world come to Albequerquie for this event. This balloon, came all the way from Ashland, Virginia. I have their card. They're on Lickinghole Rd. Yes... Seriously. (Insert your own pun here... I don't even want to touch this one!)

Is this serious? Unfortunantly yes, he said... Apparently it's an old indian name Well... At least people remember it... He said I wonder if there's a big Lesbian population there? I'll refrain!!

This was from last weekends trip to Tent Rocks. In addition to having a bunch of funky triangular rocks shaped kind of like teepees, there is also a section of the park that contains a slot canyon. This was pretty cool. It was like a lighter version of Antelope Canyon. Antelope Canyon is a deep red color. This is more of a light tan. Otherwise, it was very similar. Cool place!

Still digging through everything I've shot recently. I shot this a month or so ago while visiting the Taos Pueblo. It is actually part of the Pueblo property.

Another mediocre shot of this spectacular place. Carlsbad Caverns are on par with the Grand Canyon, and the giant trees of Seqoia National Park, as one of the most impressive places I've ever seen. Unfortunantly it has to be one of the most difficult places I've ever tried to shoot. I don't think I can possibly do justice to such an amazing place. This shot is 5 different shots all merged in photoshop. It's a 3 shot HDR, merged with 2 other shots I did with off camera flashes.
