Well... No visit to Oklahoma would be complete without a tornado warning, right?
Last night I saw just about the most insane storm I have ever witnessed. I was driving back to my campsite with lightning coming down so furiously, it was like a strobe light. Rain and hail were blowing horizontally. There were 70 MPH wind gusts. I couldn't drive faster than 10 MPH. Visibility was about 5 feet. The radio was announcing tornado warnings in pretty much every county in western Oklahoma.
During the storm, it was raining way too hard to get a photo of anything. This was about a half hour later when the rain stopped. At that point there was no sky to ground lightning, so I just aimed the camera up at the sky and got this. Lightning way crisscrossing the sky like big spider webs.
