This is what day two and three of my roadtrip looked like. Stormy, dreary, drizzly, foggy... Lucky for me, I LOVE crappy weather, so I was thrilled. After a year and a half in the desert, I've seen enough sunny days and solid blue skies to last a lifetime. As a photographer, I say, 'Bring on the crappy weather' I love Oregon. I don't want to leave here, but I have to. They even pump your gas for you here. I should be used to that. There are only two states in the country where it is illegal to pump your own gas. All gas stations are full service. Oregon, and the other state is New Jersey, WHERE I'M FROM! After 3 1/2 years on the road, I've grown quite used to pumping my own gas. Now, it actually feels strange when someone comes up and grabs the pump out of my hand to fill my tank for me. Here's a funny story... When I first started living in the motorhome, down in Florida I met a nice couple from Canada. We were talking, and I mentioned I was from New Jersey. He said "I was only there once. Just for a few hours. The people seemed nice though. I pulled into a gas station, and a guy even offered to pump my gas for me. That was really nice of him." I had to break it to him, "They ALWAYS pump your gas for you in New Jersey. IT'S THE LAW!"
