And my third sidetrip of the year... I was keeping a very close eye on the fall foliage reports in Colorado. The last week of September, as the fall colors hit peak, I left the motorhome at a friends place near Colorado Springs and spent a very cold week sleeping in the back of my truck. I did a big loop back around Colorado shooting all the fall color. I hit Aspen, and then went back through Ouray, Durango, Telluride, Pagosa Springs... It was a crazy, but very productive week.
