Mother Great Horned Owl with owlet, high in a tree at Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland, Florida. This pair captivated the attention of many visitors to the reserve for several weeks.

We felt fortunate to find Lost Creek Falls Natural Area near Sparta, Tennessee. There was little water coming across the falls on this October day and my wife stood beneath the falls for a few shots. This waterfall has substantial water flow during certain periods of the year as shown on YouTube. It is 60 feet high and managed by Fall Creek Falls State Park. There are several very large caves to be explored in this area.

The green iguana is not native to Florida and have become a problem in some areas. Quite by accident, I saw this guy in one of the wetland parks in Delray Beach, Florida. I used my 300mm to get this close. And while I have read that their maximum length is 6.5 feet, he looked 10 feet long to me.
